Trump's Family Member Gets Professional Advice from Golf Legend Woods Ahead of Professional Golf First Appearance

Emerging athlete preparing for major tournament

This young athlete has considerable online following

The young golfer will have multiple high-profile supporters as she makes her LPGA debut on Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who is related to a former US president, received a tournament invitation to compete at the Annika tournament in Florida.

Her grandfather, a passionate golfer, operates multiple golf courses and frequently matches against Kai.

"He's quite skilled. I can't say much but we play some close matches," she revealed.

She mentioned that her grandfather, unable to come, told her: "Just avoid anxiety."

"My grandpa practically told me to go out there and relax," she continued.

"In my eyes, he's simply a normal grandpa. He won't be there for the tournament. He's busy with running the country, so he's quite busy."

While still amateur, Kai has played in only three events in 2024 and has position 461 in the American Junior Golf Association standings.

But she can get advice from Tiger Woods, who is dating Kai's mother.

"He represents the top athlete in the world," Kai stated.

"Additionally, he's an even better individual. He suggested me to go out there, have fun, and go with the flow."

The golfer will compete against some of most prominent players in the sport at the competition, including world number two the champion, England's golfer Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.

Tournament organizers stated that Kai's presence exposes the sport to wider groups, specifically with youth audiences.

Kai maintains substantial online presence and recently launched an exclusive apparel and wellness label.

The competition starts at late afternoon GMT.
